Why Practice Yin & Nidra?

Sometimes the most restorative thing you can do is slow down.

Qigong is often called meditation in motion, slow movements. We follow the seasons, balancing the organs physically and energetically. It is designed to improve health. The courses are designed for beginners.

Yin yoga is a slow, gentle practice where you rest into carefully poses for a short time. No flexibility and no previous experience needed. Only your body softening. And in that stillness, something quietly happens, tension you didn't know you were holding release. The mind slows down, you start to feel a sense of calm.

Most people who come to Yin have never tried it. It's one of the most accessible practices there is, and options are offered to adapt the poses to your body.

Yoga Nidra or Deep Rest is also called yogic sleep, it's a guided relaxation where you simply lie down and listen to my voice as sound healing is played. Some participants drift into sleep while others notice they sleep better for days afterwards.

Qigong & Yin create a mini reset, for your body and your mind.

Most participants book by term and return season after season. Drop-in spaces are available if your schedule needs flexibility.

Candice practicing yoga outdoors on a large rock with a background of green trees, sitting cross-legged with one hand on her knee and the other hand raised to her chest in a meditation pose.

I didn't know what to expect and was quite nervous but I didn't have to be. Candice and the whole group made me feel so welcome.

If you aren't quite in the right position or a pose is too difficult, Candice will quietly come over and reposition you or suggest a modified version of the pose.

I’ve been going 4 weeks now and I certainly will be continuing as I literally can feel all stresses and tensions leaving my body after a long day.

Thank you Candice.
