Yoga & Qigong Classes in Tonbridge, Kent
Calming, nurturing, beginner-friendly sessions.
This is yoga and Qigong (a bit like Tai Chi) fusion for those who overstressed, tired and want to slow down.
These classes are designed for beginners. They follow a seasonal theme, helping you to tune in to nature and harmonise your body and mind. You learn animal forms in relation with the season and as you repeat the movements, you stimulate your meridians (also called energy lines), optimising the functioning of your organs.
In China, it is considered a preventative medicine. Warm and welcoming space to slow down, breathe, and connect with your body.

Every Class is Welcoming, Inclusive and Completely Beginner-Friendly
Think of each class like a buffet, at every moment you'll have options, and you simply take what serves your body and your energy that day. You might see one person in a standing pose while another rests in a gentler variation beside them.
Someone might be in a chair, someone on the mat, everyone attuning to themselves, everyone equal. That's not just accommodation, that's the practice. Listening to your body is one of the most powerful things you can learn to do.

A Practice That Takes You on a Journey
These aren't just weekly classes, they're a seasonal journey that deepens every time you return.
Each term follows a 5 to 6 week course built around the Qigong seasonal calendar, yes, five seasons, not four, each with its own energy and focus.
Every term has its own theme and its own set of Qigong poses, playful, nature and animal-inspired movements that are woven through every session.
Week by week you learn and layer these poses until they become second nature, each one working with the body's natural energy pathways and the organs associated with that season. The yoga flow shifts and evolves around them, so every class feels fresh, but the repetition of those core Qigong anchors means you genuinely master them and feel their benefits building over time.
And because the practice follows the seasons, it never fully repeats itself. Participants who come term after term find themselves on an ever-evolving path, growing healthier, more grounded, and more in tune with their own body and the natural world around them.
