My Story
Energised, restored and grounded
These three words sum up how I feel today thanks to a regular yoga and qigong practice.
It wasn’t always like this. Years ago, at the peak of my corporate career in London, I was constantly on the go — travelling, juggling deadlines, trying to keep up. From the outside it looked impressive, but inside I often felt exhausted, scattered, and disconnected. Sleep was patchy, stress was constant, and I rarely felt fully present. Life felt more like coping than living.
Everything shifted when I discovered practices that genuinely replenished me. Through yoga, qigong (a gentle energy practice, sometimes called meditation in motion), meditation, and mantra, I slowly restored my energy, got better sleep, and found a sense of calm and clarity I hadn’t known in years. Over time, I reconnected with myself and created space for fresh ideas, focus, and meaningful work.
Now, I share these practices with others — especially ambitious professionals and busy people who want to prevent burnout, maintain energy, and find more balance. My teaching blends yoga and qigong fusion, Yin Yoga, and Deep Rest (Yoga Nidra) in ways that are accessible for all levels, including beginners.
What truly changed wasn’t just the practices — it was learning to listen. Instead of pushing through tiredness, I began responding to it. That shift from forcing to attuning is now at the heart of my teaching. I guide people to adapt the pace and energy of their practice so it supports their real capacity — building self-trust and sustainable strength over time.
I teach locally in Kent, Tonbridge, online, and at retreats and festivals, guiding people to cultivate sustainable energy, clarity, and resilience. My mission is simple: to help you thrive — not just survive.
My Training
I graduated from the Triyoga London Daoist Flow 230-hour Teacher Training programme, led by Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo-Deemer. I'm now part of the teaching faculty, supporting trainees in their learning and development.
I'm also a trained Yoga Nidra teacher, a deeply restorative relaxation practice. I completed my training at the Satyananda Yoga Centre, part of the Bihar School of Yoga.
My Yin Yoga training was completed with Norman Blair, also accredited by Yoga Alliance.
Additionally, I trained in children’s yoga with Ayala Homossany, creator of Enchanted Wonders at Yoga Campus, where the emphasis was on nurturing creativity, confidence, and self-expression through movement and play. This experience continues to inform my approach today — encouraging curiosity, presence, and creativity as essential aspects of wellbeing for all ages.
My mindfulness training comes from The Mindfulness Project, where I completed courses in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Self-Compassion.
