Why Workplace Yoga & Wellbeing
Yoga and Qigong are both evidence-backed methods for reducing stress and improving mental health.
Before training as a yoga and qigong teacher, I had a long career in the corporate world, and I saw first hand the impact stress could have on mental and physical wellbeing. It was one of the reasons I was drawn to yoga, during a particularly challenging period in my own life.
Now I craft wellbeing programmes to support businesses with improving employee mental health through movement, breathwork and meditation.
In a recent study participants’ rated the extent to which they felt yoga had improved seven aspects of health, 88% said yoga had improved their physical health, 86.2% mental health, 82.6% stress levels, 87.1% strength and 91.6% flexibility.

What you need/Don’t need
I can work with your organisation whether you have a dedicated space for yoga or not. Most businesses don’t have the luxury of a room to practice yoga, in which case, all you need is a desk and a chair.
Yoga/Qigong can be practiced in your office clothes, if time is a constraint, there is no need to change in a specific outfit.
