Improve your physical & mental health with Qigong.
Understand how Qigong can support your health. Discover the meridians or channels of energy in your body and how to clear energy blockage with simple Qigong forms or movements.
You will gain understanding of the key basic postures in yoga and how they can be weaved with a Qigong practice.
The breath is an underlying theme as it is essential to regulate the nervous system and more specifically the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest).
Qigong follows the agricultural calendar. There are 5 seasons in Qigong and each season is related to specific meridians, organs and emotions. Each season, the practice will change as we explore the theme of the given season around energy. How to create more of it, cultivate it, through simple movements and relaxation practices. You will learn about the organs associated with the seasons and how you can live in harmony with nature and your body.
