Float & Flow: Sunset Yoga & Paddle in Tonbridge

Do you enjoy nature and want to try something fun?
Join Candice and Ana for a magical evening of paddle boarding and yoga – the perfect combination to move, unwind, and reconnect with nature as the sun sets over the River Medway.
We’ll meet at Lower Castle Field Car Park in Tonbridge, right by the river. After launching our boards, Ana will guide you through some essential paddle boarding techniques – ideal for beginners or anyone needing a gentle refresher.
We’ll then enjoy a relaxing sunset paddle along the Medway before stopping for a blissful one-hour Yoga & Qigong session, taught by Candice. This gentle, beginner-friendly practice includes mindful movement, breathwork, and a guided meditation.
What is Qigong?
Qigong is a traditional energy practice using slow, flowing movements to clear blockages, support the immune system, and restore inner balance. Inspired by nature and the seasons, it’s used in China as a form of preventative medicine.
Expect to leave feeling energised, calm, and joyfully connected to the summer season.
Requirements
✔ Able to paddle for around 1 hour
✔ Comfortable in open water and physically fit for a light outdoor session
What to bring?
Comfortable clothes & towel
Water, snacks, and change of clothes
Paddle board & equipment (or hire one for £15 – let us know in advance)
British Canoeing licence (if bringing your own board)
You’ll need to be fit to paddle for around 1 hour.
